The main working part of the eccentric screw pump is screw pair, which determines how the principle works, and all basic characteristics of screw pump. Screw pair consists of a fixed part of the stator, and a movable rotor. The stator is the internal 2-lead spiral, made of elastomer, indivisible connected to the metal sleeve. The rotor is an external 1-lead the spiral is made of steel with subsequent coating or without it. The principle of the pump is enclosed in a moving environment through periodic displacement constant volume enclosed in sealed chambers between the rotating rotor and a stationary stator. During rotation of the rotor cavity suction-side increases in volume and it is created the vacuum under the effect of the rarefaction of the transported medium fills the formed cavity. Upon further rotation, and the moving stroke helix, the cavity is closed, and the conveyed fluid moving the rotor along the axis of the stator in the direction of discharge. This the number of such closed cavities per unit length screw pair determine the final pressure of the unit, and the volume of each cavity is his performance. Distinctive features of screw pump:
