Inventory of land is carried out with the purpose of establishing the location of land features, boundaries, size, legal status, identify lands that are not used, are used inefficiently or for purposes, identification and conservation of degraded agricultural land and contaminated land, the establishment of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the land required for conducting the state land cadastre, the implementation of state control over use and protection of lands and making them the basis of relevant resolutions of the Executive bodies and bodies of local self-government.
The purpose of conducting inventory of land plots to citizens and enterprises can be:
determination of the quantitative composition of the land;
obtaining data for the production of technical documentation, design documents, certifying the right of ownership or use of land that were previously granted to legal entities and individuals address issues of divergence of the location, shape or size of the area that is actually in use, and the areas that previously had been provided for the use;
providing information for the calculation of land tax and rent;
restoring land boundaries (in case of disputes or loss of boundaries);
restrictions and encumbrances on the land;
preparation of cadastral plans (maps);
getting accurate information to address issues of termination of the right of use of land when used for the intended purpose, violation of land legislation and statutory requirements;
addressing discrepancies in the location of the site, shape, or size;
the analysis of the actual use of land resources;
for other data necessary for conducting the state land cadastre.
Upon completion of the inventory compiled spatial documents and graphic materials showing the location of parcel boundaries and the area of real estate.
Often the inventory is conducted in the absence of legal documents (or they are not full), when sites do not meet the necessary location and square, when there is a change of owner. Also the inventory of land plots required for reorganization of a legal person to which they belonged. On the basis of materials inventory, you can make changes in the data of the state land cadastre.
