Ground wire - galvanized steel rope, designed to protect the air lines from atmospheric overvoltage and direct lightning strikes.
Currently, there are 6 types of shielding wire.
All objects of JSC "FGC UES" and JSC "IDGC holding" we need to use an upgraded version of the lightning cable with plastically compacted strands and zinc coating not less than 205 g/m2, namely:
1. Ground wire 9,2 MOH-RC-H-MK-R marking groups 1370, 14470, 1570, 1770 N/mm2 designed for hanging on the overhead power lines with a voltage of 35 kW and above for protection against direct lightning strikes.
2. Ground wire 11,0 MOH-RC-H-MK-R marking groups 1370, 14470, 1570, 1770 N/mm2 designed for hanging on the overhead power lines with a voltage of 35 kW and above for protection against direct lightning strikes.
3. Ground wire 13,0 MOH-RC-H-MK-R marking groups 1370, 14470, 1570, 1770 N/mm2 designed for hanging on the overhead power lines with a voltage of 35 kW and above for protection against direct lightning strikes.
Also widespread:
4. Ground wire TC (s) - galvanized steel (group "C", "W", "EXP") rope with a calculated cross-sectional area of all wires is not less than 35 mm2.
5. Ground wire TC (with50) - galvanized steel (group "C", "W", "EXP") rope with a calculated cross-sectional area of wires is not less than 50 mm2.
6. Ground wire TC (C70) - galvanized steel (group "C", "W", "EXP") rope with a calculated cross-sectional area of wires is not less than 70 mm2.
In strict accordance with the requirements outlined in the project documentation for construction or rekonstruiruetsya object, and depending on the aggressiveness of the environment, shielding wire TC(s), TK(with50), TK (C70) there are 3 types, with different density zinc coating wires:
•Group galvanizing "C" is the density of zinc coating of all wires in the rope not less than 80 g/m2.
•Group galvanizing "W" is the density of zinc coating of wires in the rope not less than 110 g/m2.
•Group galvanizing "coolant" is density of zinc coating of wires in the rope not less than 205 g/m2.
