Lacovey iris - Iris graminea (rare) plant
Perennial 40-60 cm tall. Thin branched rhizome, forming dense turf. The stem is compressed flat with distinct edges. Leaves narrowly ensiform or narrowly linear, stout, with several conspicuous longitudinal veins, top bright green, shiny, bottom is pale gray-green. The wrapper leaf up to 25 cm long with an acute keel. The flowers on the stems solitary or two, pedicels up to 6 cm long, in section roundish 3-sided. Perianth tube short, funnel-shaped. Outer perianth segments are nearly round plate, which is separated from ovate claw gradual but clearly marked narrowing. Background color yellowish-white, on it with purple veins. Inner perianth segments broadly lanceolate, with a short nail. Pear seeds. Flowering in June.
