Mechanism of action

Kursat M 68 VG continues the line of the fungicides on the basis of cymoxanil from DuPont, and is characterized by a high content of MANCOZEB.

Cymoxanil

[1] Shows medicinal properties (stop$effect) and acts as an inhibitor of spore formation.

[1] Works by slowing and termination of many cellular processes in pathogens

[1] Controls all the existing races and strains of late blight, and mildew perenospora both sustainable and sensitive to Fenland (D. G. metalaxyl).

Cymoxanil moves from the upper side of the sheet to the bottom (translaminar penetration) and redistributed within the leaf (local and systemic movement).

It provides resistance to flushing of sediments and the possibility to compensate for the incomplete coverage of the leaves with working solution, which is important for the effective protection of crops against downy mildew, late blight, perenospora.

No cases of manifestation of resistance to cymoxanil, one of the key active ingredients to Curzate M 68 VG is widely used in many countries of the world.

Action features cymoxanil against late blight, and mildew perenospora

Rapid penetration cymoxanil in the leaves and stem, as well as the ability capsulate infection to 2 days after infiltration, provides a flexible, highly efficient control of pathogens, both outside and inside the sheet.

MANCOZEB

· Shows contact (preventive) action that provides diversified exposure to a broad range of pathogens

· MANCOZEB inhibits the growth of pathogens on the surface of the plant by inhibiting the activity of enzymes of fungi, violates the synthesis of ATP.

· An additional source of plant nutrition manganese and zinc

· MANCOZEB in the case of preventive treatment can effectively control pathogens from the class datarate - Alternaria, macrosporiosis, Anthracnose, Septoria spot, black scurf, black spot and oomath – late blight, by perenosporyosis, mildew. Therefore, the use of MANCOZEB is an essential tool for antiresistance programs.

Action features MANCOZEB against Alternaria

Kursat M due to the high content MANCOZEB to effectively control pathogens of Alternaria (Alternaria solani and Alternaria alternata) and provides 1700 g/ha to MANCOZEB at a maximum rate of 2.5 kg/ha. For adequate control of Alternaria minimal number of MANCOZEB is 1500 g/ha (2.3 kg/ha).

KURSAT M, thanks to the complex effect on pathogens, is an effective tool for the reliable control of pathogens, including antiresistance programs.

KURSAT M combines the reliability of the rule, the full MANCOZEB and locally systemic action cymoxanil that provides additional flexibility in time (2-3 days) in comparison with the protection of only the contact fungicides.

KURSAT M is a highly selective fungicide against processed crops, along with high efficacy against complex diseases ensures the growth of crops and improve its quality.

The intervals between treatments

· Under normal conditions, the interval between treatments is 10-14 days.

· Should reduce the interval between treatments in 7-10 days:

· when the cultivation of crops under irrigation

· on very sensitive varieties until the defeat

· in rainy weather, which contributes to the rapid development of pathogens

· when noticed the symptoms of disease

· Resistance to washout by precipitation

· Fallen precipitation or irrigation within 2 hours after application of the drug can reduce its effectiveness.
