Purpose:

selective postemergence herbicide of systemic action for control annual dicotyledonous, including stable to 2,4-d, MTSPA, cornerstone and some perennial weeds in cereal crops.

Active ingredients:

complex 2-ethylhexyloxy ether 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate acid, 615 g/l + florasulam, 7.4 g/l.

Preparative form:

suspa emulsion.

Characteristics of effective substances:

complex 2-ethylhexyloxy ester 2,4-D acid refers to a derivative of aryloxyalkanoic acids, florasulam – class triazolopyrimidines.

Action spectrum:

Ballerina destroys more than 150 species of dicotyledonous weeds (including resistant to 2,4-D and MTSPA), including cleavers, chamomile (species), weed field, yellow sow Thistle, field bindweed, cornflower blue, watercress, shepherd's purse, yarutka field, wild radish, pigweed, white, wild poppies, amaranth (species), starwort average, the Polygonum species), buckwheat berezkova, A. artemisiifolia, descurainia Sophia, Lactuca tatarica, Taraxacum officinale, etc.

Mechanism of action:

florasulam is an inhibitor of the formation of the enzyme acetolactate, 2,4-D causes the reaction of the Magenta type. This double action of the herbicide reduces the likelihood of resistance in weeds. The herbicide has systemic activity, quickly, within 1 hour, enters the plant and is distributed in all its parts, including roots, inhibits the growth of cells in young tissues.

The rate and symptoms of exposure:

the growth of treated weeds stops a day after spraying. Visible signs of action (discoloration and twisting of leaves, shortening of internodes) appear after 3 to 4 days. Depending on the species of harmful plants and weather conditions, complete destruction of weeds occurs within 2-3 weeks after treatment.

Application features:

the best effect of the drug is achieved in the processing of annual dicotyledonous weeds in the phase of 3 - 5 leaves, perennial cornerstone – rosette stage before the stem.

The maximum consumption rate is used in case of higher infestation; the predominance of perennial weeds cornerstone; the presence of overgrown weeds (cleavers, chamomile, types osotov – phase stem-budding).

Optimum application temperature is from 8 to 25°C, When there is active growth of weeds and the drug acts faster. Not recommended treatment in those days when the forecast night frost (and after) through the possibility of reducing the effectiveness of the drug.

Restrictions on crop rotation:
