Purpose:

contact and systemic insecticide to combat the complex chewing and sucking pests, including prijavnica, on cereals, rapeseed, sugar beet and areas inhabited by locusts.

Active ingredients:

Imidacloprid, 150 g/l and lambda-cyhalothrin, 50 g/l.

Preparative form:

a suspension concentrate.

Characteristics of effective substances:

Imidacloprid belongs to a class of neonatologu (chlorine), shows systemic activity, has a contact-intestinal action for many types of biting and sucking insect pests. Lambda-cyhalothrin relates to synthetic pyrethroids, has a contact-intestinal action, but, unlike most pyrethroids, is effective against mites-phytophages.

Action spectrum:

the main pests on important agricultural crops. On grain – harmful bug-bug, n Avis, aphids, grain beetles, thrips, grain flea beetles, leafhoppers, stem sawflies, oscinella; on rape – the crucifer flea beetle, rape pollen beetle, rape Sawfly, skrytnohobotnikom; on beet – beet flea beetles, weevils, aphids, meadow moth.

Mechanism of action:

the active ingredients of insecticides have different mechanisms of action, therefore their combination allows to achieve high efficiency. Imidacloprid has a systemic and translaminar activity, enters the plant through the leaves, stems and roots, distributed in the parenchyma and the xylem moves. Lambda-cyhalothrin remains outside of the treated plant surface. Zephyr quickly suppresses the transmission of signals from the Central nervous system of pests. Pests are affected as from direct contact during spraying and while feeding from the treated plants, including inside them. This is especially important for destruction prijavnica pests, such as stem sawflies in grain crops, as well as phytophagous species, which feed on the underside of leaves and on other parts, on which the working solution of the insecticide cannot reach.

Speed of impact:

a few minutes after getting the drug into the body of pests they stop eating and die within 24 hours.

The period of protective action:

on average – 14 - 28 day.

Features of the drug:

Boreas destroys the pest population is resistant to pyrethroids and organophosphorus compounds. The drug combines the rapid action of (so-called "knockdown"effect) with the long period of protective action. It retains insecticidal activity in hot weather and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
