Purpose:

selective systemic herbicide against annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds in potatoes and tomatoes.

Active substance:

metribuzin, 700 g/kg.

Preparative form:

Wettable Powder.

Characteristics of the active substance:

metribuzin belongs to the class of 1,2,4-triazines.

Action spectrum:

annual dicotyledonous and cereal weeds. Sensitive: ambrosia artemisiifolia, cornflower blue, Veronica (species), galinsoga melkotsvetkovye, knotweed (species), watercress, wild radish (species), Curley Sophia, cocklebur (species), Datura Stramonium, dymjanka drug, Erysimum loli, marsh woundwort, marsh stitchwort medium, abutilon Theophrastus, cabbage field, Kochia vnica, orache (species), field foxtail, pigweed (species), annual meadow grass, dandelion, sonchus oleraceus, field shepherd's purse, black nightshade, iris (species), garden purslane, millet chicken, chamomile odorless, wild radish, smilavichi (species), marsh woundwort annuals, amaranth (species), yarutka field, etc.

Mechanism of action

Lapis lazuli is absorbed mainly by the roots of weeds, but can penetrate into the plant through the leaves. Moves acropetally.

Speed of impact:

destroys weeds at the time of germination for pre-emergence or within 10 - 20 days post-emergence application.

The period of protective action:

provides protection of crops from weeds within 1 to 2 months depending on weather conditions and the degree of culturenet field (reserve of weed seeds in the soil, species diversity).

Recommendations for use:

for early potatoes have to comply with the application rate of 0.5 kg/ha, especially under adverse weather conditions (heavy rains) during the period of emergence. The maximum dose should bring on heavy-textured soils with minimum – on light. On sandy soils with low humus content (less than 1%), to use lapis Lazuli is not recommended. On soils with a humus content of more than 6%, as well as peat bogs and soils, "swim", is best done by spraying vegetative weeds.

It is not recommended mixing of the soil during the treatment and the days following it. The soil surface should be carefully designed without lumps.

Factors influencing the effectiveness of the drug:

maximum efficiency of lapis Lazuli promotes the loss of moderate rainfall soon after treatment. Heavy precipitation, on the contrary, can decrease due to the washout of the drug (particularly on light soils). Long-term drought after application of the herbicide also has a negative impact on its effectiveness.

Compatibility:

to broaden the spectrum of action and lower application rates of lapis Lazuli can be used in tank mixtures with other pesticides. When mixing drugs should follow this order: lapis Lazuli - RFP - COP - RK - KYO. Each subsequent component is added after complete dissolution of the previous one. Before applying you must check the mixture for compatibility and phytotoxicity against crops, which is processed.
