Purpose:

selective postemergence herbicide for control of annual and perennial grasses and dicotyledonous weeds and woody shrubs.

Active substance:

Isopropylamine salt of glyphosate acid, 500 g/l.

Preparative form:

a soluble concentrate.

Feature active ingredient: glyphosate belongs to the class of organophosphorus compounds and has a systemic effect.

Action spectrum:

all annual and perennial grasses and dicotyledonous weeds, including hard-core types (quackgrass, sow Thistle pink bindweed field, swinery palmate, etc.), as well as unwanted trees and shrubs* ( aspen, birch, alder, willow, acacia, maple, etc.).

Mechanism of action:

penetrates into the plant through the leaves and other green parts and distributed to all organs of weeds, reaching their root system. Blocks the synthesis of aromatic amino acids, leading to the defeat of the growing point and complete death of the aboveground and underground organs. During desiccation of the seed crop does not degrade the quality of seeds sown.

Speed of impact:

visual symptoms of herbicidal effects on annual weeds become noticeable after 4 to 5 days on years – 7 - 10, trees and shrubs and cane – 20 - 30-th day after spraying. Complete destruction of weeds occurs in approximately 3 to 4 weeks after treatment, and tree and shrub vegetation in 1 – 2 months. Symptoms of exposure:

Recommendations for use:

annual grassy weeds are the most vulnerable to a height of more than 5 cm in the tube; perennial grasses – at least 5 - 6 leaves and a height of 10 - 20 cm; annual dicotyledonous – from the stage of two leaves and before flowering, perennial – phase rosette to budding and flowering (Ooty – phase outlets with a diameter of 10 - 20 cm, bitterling – phase sockets – glowania, bindweed field – phase sockets 10 - 12 cm).

Application features:

Tornado 500 is effective on weeds when they are actively growing. When hot and dry weather treatment is best done in the morning or in the evening. Despite the severe drought, spraying is not recommended. The treatment should refrain and in the event that if within 4 - 6 hours after spraying rain is expected, or at the combination of heavy dew, because it dilutes the product on the puff surface, which reduces its effectiveness. If the leaves of the weeds are covered with dust, bad the herbicide hits the plant, so it is better to perform processing after it rains and wash away the dust from the surface of the leaves. To achieve a high effect in the suppression of perennial weeds, cultivation should be carried out not earlier than one week after spraying, to the dying out of the roots and rhizomes of perennial weeds has become irreversible.
