Herbicide Basargan

Basargan R. V. - selective contact herbicide against dicotyledonous weeds that are supplied in the form of an aqueous solution, (including resistant to 2,4-D and 2M-4X) on crops: spring and winter wheat, barley, rye, oats, millet, soybean, spring cereals with undersown Lucerne or clover, rice, peas, corn, flax, hops, alfalfa, peppermint, clover field and annual ryegrass.

Active ingredient: bentazone (480 g/l)

The mechanism of action of Basargan:

The herbicide has an active ingredient – bentazone, the mechanism of action of which is originally based on the irreversible process of blocking photosynthetic electron transport. The result of this reaction is interrupted assimilation of CO 2 and plant after a short stop in the growth dies.

After absorbing the active ingredient moves through the plant via intercellular spaces, and conductive beams. The strength and direction of the transport depend on the extent of absorption, site of application, plant species, development stage and environmental conditions. The active substance moves mainly acropetal (from bottom to top).

Favorable for plant growth weather conditions lead to increased absorption of the active substance and improving its action.

Application features:

After use of the drug basargan not less than 4 hours should be no precipitation and do not need to be irrigated so that the active substance is able to penetrate the weeds.

The consumption rate of the drug: 2-6 l/ha, depending on culture and its phases of development (the weeds must be in the stage of 2-4 leaves)

Working fluid: 200-300 l/ha

For maximum effect of the drug of leaves and stems of weeds must be sufficiently moistened with a working solution. Spraying should be carried out not later than the period when vegetative culture will cover the weeds from getting the solution herbicide

Mixability

Basargan can be used in mixtures with the products Pivot and PULSAR 40. With other drugs studies have not been conducted.

Toxicity:

The drug has low toxicity for warm-blooded and non-toxic to bees.
