Advantages

Mechanism of action

Alpha Naturon absorbed by the leaves and stems of weeds and is transported to meristematic tissues. Active ingredient stops cell division by blocking synthesis of the enzyme acetolactate responsible for the biosynthesis of essential amino acids.

 

Properties

Stop the growth and development of sensitive plants occurs within 4-6 hours after drug administration. Visible symptoms of herbicidal action appear in 4-7 days, and the total loss observed after 14-28 days, depending on species composition and developmental stage of weeds, weather conditions, and the like. Action spectrum: Ploscha, foxtail (species), Palatka (species), wild oats, paganica many-flowered millet (species), syt (species), sorghum Alaska, quackgrass, Guma, bitterling (species), watercress, starwort average, orache (species), field mint, purslane garden, chamomile (species), wild radish, common winter cress, amaranth (species).

 

General recommendations

Optimum conditions for spraying of drug crops: temperature from +15°to +25°C and stay of the weed and culture in a state of active growth. Maximum efficiency is achieved in the processing of annual dicotyledonous weeds in the phase of 2-4 leaves of annual grasses and 3-5 leaves and height of perennial grass weeds 10-20 cm.

The herbicide is compatible with most pesticides, except for organophosphorus insecticides, herbicides with the active substance bentazone and 2,4 D. Before preparing a tank mixture, perform a test mixing and also to assure that the deadlines for the application of drugs-components coincide.

Active substance nicosulfuron is rapidly degraded in the humid and microbiologically active soil with acidic reaction (pH 7). If necessary, re-sowing of maize treated with the herbicide alpha Nuture may be held in the spring – only corn or after plowing is soy, in the autumn – winter wheat or barley. The following year, after application of the herbicide can be sown any culture. There is a chance of damage to subsequent crops on soils with alkaline reaction (pH 8) in the case where in the period after treatment and before sowing the subsequent crops was dominated by arid conditions. In this case, pay special attention to the sustainability of crop rotation to nicosulfuron, which increases in the following sequence: sugar beet tomatoes buckwheat flax wheat barley oats canola soybeans corn. The most sensitive crops to herbicide is sugar beets, tomatoes and potatoes.

To expand the range of controlled dicotyledonous weeds in crops of corn can be used in the 3-5-leaf phase of a culture tank mixture: alpha Mufuron (50-60 g/ha) + alpha Dicamba (0,3-0,4 l/ha) + surfactant Alfacip (0.1 l / 100 l of water).
