THE MECHANISM AND SPECTRUM OF ACTION:

ASTRAL PLUS® CE kills annual grasses and dicotyledonous weeds even before emergence of seedlings, preventing competition with the crop. The drug acts both on the ladder and germinating seeds of weeds, mainly absorbed through the roots and the first leaves of the weeds, causing the seedling curl and die. Terbutylazine that is included in the herbicide composition of ASTREL PLUS® CE affects the photosynthesis of plants by blocking the electron transport in the cell, weeds, acetochlor affects the synthesis of proteins and fatty acids, which leads to the loss of weeds.
ASTRAL PLUS® CE due to the combination of two active ingredients controls a wide range of annual weeds, including those resistant to other herbicides, such as field mustard (Sinapis arvensis), the usual groundsel (Senecio vulgaris), chamomile (Matricaria spp.), black nightshade (Solanum nigrum), ambrosia artemisiifolia (Ambrosia artemisiaefolia), and others.
When using the drug at the recommended norm, thanks to the inclusion in the formulation of the special antidote, protoxins on cultivated plants was observed.

APPLICATION FEATURES:

ASTRAL PLUS® CEas a soil herbicide for protection of sunflower and corn is applied prior to sowing, during sowing, after sowing but before the emergence of culture. The drug does not require immediate incorporation. Conduct pre-sowing with incorporation is advisable when the weather is dry to a depth of 3 – 5 see Background for high efficiency of the drug is properly prepared soil. For maximum results it is necessary the presence of soil moisture in sufficient quantity or minimum rainfall of 10 to 20 mm within 2 weeks from the moment of entering.

ASTRAL PLUS® CE during the growing season completely degraded in soil, for next season there is no limitation in crop rotation.
The recommended application rate of the working solution 200-300 l/ha.
