Mechanism of action:
Has is absorbed by the leaves and stems of weeds and inhibits cell division by blocking the enzyme ALS (acetolactate), participates in the synthesis of essential amino acids. Weeds quickly stop growth and competition culture, after a week take a reddish tinge and gradually die completely (about three weeks). Mesotrione inhibits the HPPD enzyme (p-gtrecipes-pyruvate degtorad), which participates in the conversion tyrosinase acid in plastoquinone. The latter are an important element in the synthesis of carotenoids. These compounds, in turn, extend the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll to infrared, thus mesotrione is an inhibitor of photosynthesis. Weeds quickly stop photosynthesis, lose their green color and die. Mesotrione soil also has a prolonged action. (Soil is able to control the appearance of several subsequent waves of annual dicotyledonous weeds).
Phytotoxicity and crop rotation:
Not toxic to the culture even if a later application, for example, 8 (10) the leaves of corn. Usually crops such as sugar beet, peas, and vegetables, are not placed after maize in the rotation, but after applying the herbicide Alums 105 OD, MD for the following year is not recommended to sow these crops.
Compatibility with other drugs:
In case of doubt to check for physical compatibility.
A long way for the treated area to care for crops:
Mechanized operation - 3 days, hand - 7 days.
The preparation and the consumption rate of working solution:
Technological equipment for processing of crops with tractor sprayers are recommended. Equipment for spraying should be carefully calibrated before use with regard to the speed of movement of the sprayer, the flow speed of the solution and its uniform distribution. Adjust the volume of the working fluid. Fill the sprayer tank with clean water; to enable the mode of mixing, measure out the required amount Alums 105 OD, MD and pour into the sprayer tank. Add the remaining water to a predetermined volume, continuing to stir the solution to ensure homogeneity of the solution. When filling the tank of the sprayer hose, the water inlet must be above the water level to avoid reverse suction of the drug. The consumption rate of working solution – 250-300 l/ha. the Prepared solution should be used during the day.
Method of use:
Technology spraying: before the time of protective works to calibrate and adjust the sprayer. Spraying is carried out at wind speed not exceeding 5 km/h to prevent the demolition on neighboring cultures. Daily after spraying thoroughly wash out the tank, pipelines and nozzles with clean water.
