Dioctylphtalate is dioctyloxy ester of o-phthalic acid. Colorless liquid. Not soluble in water. Soluble in benzene, chloroform, petroleum ether. Has chemical properties characteristic of esters.
Applications:
DOP plasticizer designed for plasticizing vinyl resins and other polymers in the production of cable compounds, artificial leather, rubber products, polymeric building materials, linoleum, film and sheet materials, packaging films, PVC gaskets for refrigerators, crown-mrocznych pads, overalls.
Storage conditions:
Storage is possible in a sealed container in any climatic conditions in an open area. Transported as non-hazardous cargo by rail in tanks or in containers by road.
