Zizifora clinopodia (Ziziphora clinopodiodes). A perennial herb with a thick woody rhizome, with branched stems of about 25 cm, covered with small leaves. Pink-purple the flowers are collected in capitate terminal inflorescence. All the above-ground part of the plant absolutely has a strong specific smell with menthol and lemon shades.
Decoctions of zizifory used for insomnia, hypertension, tachycardia, diseases of the stomach and duodenum, intestinal, cold. Used for welding of tea and flavors of different drinks.
