Habanero and its kin long ago migrated from the Caribbean Islands to Central America, where they are extremely popular today.
Fruit shaped orange lantern, it is small and wrinkled, the circumference of 3-4 cm.
The sharpness reaches from 200,000 to 500,000 units Scoville.

Habanero when ripe or dried and powdered has a unique fruity flavor, reminiscent of apricot.
